We're proud to announce that we've achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, the UK government-backed standard for cybersecurity. The Plus accreditation sets a higher bar for security standards, requiring independent technical verification by an external assessor.
Cyber Essentials is a certification scheme developed by the UK government and industry to help organisations protect themselves against the most common cyber threats. The Plus certification requires a qualified, independent assessor to carry out hands-on technical tests of our systems, making it a meaningful, externally verified standard of security.
To earn certification, an organisation must demonstrate robust controls across five key technical areas:
Firewalls: Boundary firewalls and internet gateways are configured to protect against common attacks
Secure configuration: Systems are set up with security in mind, removing unnecessary software and default settings
User access control: User accounts are properly managed and privileged access is tightly controlled
Malware: Protection systems are protected against viruses and malware
Security update management: Devices and software are kept up to date to address known vulnerabilities
It means we take our client's digital security and data seriously and are committed to maintaining the highest standards to protect it, now and as we grow. The controls we have in place protect against the attacks that cause the overwhelming majority of cyber incidents in UK businesses. And for those of you working in regulated sectors or the public sector, our certification can directly support your own supplier assurance processes.
If you have any questions about our security creds or processes, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
